In early February, the Queen Creek Coalition, on behalf of climbers, sent a letter to Congress outlining the issues and position of the Coalition regarding the Southeast Arizona Land Exchange and Conservation Act of 2007 (S.1862/H.R.3301), a bill that would place Oak Flat Campground and a big chunk of the Queen Creek climbing areas under private ownership of Resolution Copper Company.
